Time Savers To The Rescue!
As I sit here today at my computer drafting this week’s blog, I’m listening to the hum or our trusty robot vacuum, “Rory”, whir by me. Yes, I know it is completely ridiculous to name a machine that vacuums floors so you don’t have to, but that’s how much we love “him”. As I look down at “Rory” sweeping the dirt off of our floor, I’m thinking how grateful I am to not be vacuuming; giving me the time to work on this week’s blog. I could always vacuum my floors myself, but my time would be better spent writing and quite frankly, vacuuming is a task I don’t care for.
My robotic vacuum is saving me time, which got me thinking about ways utilizing a Virtual Assistant can save you time. There are many tasks that a VA can help you with daily so that you, like me, can put your time and energy into projects that require more of your expertise.
For example, your business is about to launch a new line of products and you’ve developed a marketing plan for it. Not only do you need buy in from your staff and other associates, it will require pushes on social media and a mailing campaign. You may be able to do this all on your own, but why not manage your time more efficiently by utilizing the help of others to do it for you?
In walks your trusty Virtual Assistant to the rescue! First your VA will help you build your presentation for your important meeting. The meeting is a hit and you’re off and running! Next, your VA has built a database, completed a mail merge, and printed and mailed your materials. After that, they are off to promote your new product line on all of your social media platforms and are reporting back to you the daily feedback you are receiving online. Let’s list all of those timely tasks your VA has taken care of for you:
- PowerPoint Presentation
- Database Management
- Mail Merge
- Mailing Coordination
- Social Media Management
- Feedback Management
It’s a significant amount of tasks that take up a significant amount of time. I’ll admit, its even more impressive than what “Rory” can do for me.
So, why do it all at the expense of being overworked and drained at the end of the day, only to run through a long list of things you didn’t have a chance to get to. Our time is valuable, and you can save it without cutting corners. Even outside of work, time savers can give you a little more of that work/life balance that we all crave.
Contact us today so we can help save you some time! As for me, I’m grateful that because of “Rory”, I could finish this blog and not have to think about vacuuming later on. I may even take a long walk with the extra time I’ve saved and for that, my dog is grateful too.
